Publication Requirements

1- The paper's submission to the Journal is a pledge that the paper has not been published elsewhere, nor will it be submitted for publication elsewhere, until the Journal's review process is completed.

2- Manuscripts should be a minimum of 5,000 words, and not exceed a maximum of 10,000 words, including the abstracts (both in Arabic and English), keywords, references, and appendices.

Published Materials

The Journal of Arts publishes scientific research papers and review articles that contribute new knowledge to their domains. The Journal does not publish thesis/dissertation chapters, commentaries, or reports.

The Journal publishes research papers in Arabic, English, and French that have not been formerly published within the field of the arts, humanities, and social sciences. This involves the following areas:

  2. To meet researchers’ needs for publishing in the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
  3. To foster knowledge in language, literature, the humanities, and social sciences, and to contribute to the development of  society.

To contribute to science by publishing peer-reviewed research in accordance with international and professional standards in the arts, humanities, and social sciences.

To be a pioneering, distinguished journal publishing in the arts, humanities, and social sciences, and to be indexed in the global databases as one of the most famous regional (Arabian) and international publishing platforms.

Journal Overview

Majalat al-Adab, or the Journal of Arts, is a Journal issued by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at King Saud University in Riyadh; it is a scientific, academic, peer-reviewed journal aimed at improving the standard of scientific research in the field of humanities and social sciences.

Weekly Pictorial Report

The Mass Communication Department began producing a video television report in 1430 AH, corresponding to 2009 AD, aiming to document and publish the university’s various events and activities in all colleges, departments, and units.
