About the Unit
A unit affiliated with the College Agency for Development and Quality, it seeks to implement and control quality, accreditation, and academic evaluation, and to disseminate this culture among college staff. It also develops the college's strategic plan and its departments, works to implement it, measures its progress, proposes awards for excellence within the college, and motivates faculty members to participate in excellence awards competitions both inside and outside the university.
Unit tasks
• Establishing the concept of quality and disseminating its culture at the college level.
• Implementing the college's quality system.
• Implementing quality and academic accreditation requirements.
• Preparing and implementing development and strategic plans at the college.
• Planning for local and international academic accreditation.
• Providing consultations to quality units and committees in departments.
• Implementing and monitoring the college's creativity and excellence awards activities.
• Developing appropriate interim plans for the periodic review of approved quality standards to ensure continuous improvement in the performance of the college's academic departments and administrative units.
• Establish a mechanism to measure the level of satisfaction of beneficiaries of the college's services (internal and external) and communicate this to all relevant academic departments and administrative units.
• Follow up on the implementation of self-assessment and academic evaluations for all college departments.
• Follow up on the quality management system (Itqan).
• Carry out any tasks assigned by the College Vice Dean for Development and Quality
• Submit periodic reports to the College Vice Dean for Development and Quality on the unit's achievements and work.
