Majalat al-Adab, or the Journal of Arts, is a peer-reviewed scientific journal supervised by the Scientific Journals Unit, which operates under the Deanship of Scientific Research at King Saud University. The objectives and main scope of the Journal aligns with those of the University, which is consistent with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 Vision. The initial issue was released in the year 1390AH/1970. It is published quarterly each academic year and presents novel and significant academic papers in the fields of humanities and social sciences. The Editorial board is appointed by decision of the University Council. Furthermore, a decision has been made to assign a newly formed editorial board to initiate working and operating the Journal as of the second semester of 1445.
The Journal seeks to serve as a gateway to significant scientific research in the social sciences and humanities field, encouraging societal advancement of these disciplines through scientific methodologies. The Journal welcomes the significant contributions of researchers from various universities and cultural backgrounds whose diversity develops the value and progression of scientific research. Additionally, a committee of professors recognized for their research expertise and academic integrity is commissioned by the Journal to peer review, evaluate, and develop the academic merit of research papers before their publication
As an Editor-in-Chief, I extend a warm welcome to researchers interested in publishing their substantial research in the fields such as English and Arabic Language, media, history, social studies, media, geography, and information sciences. I encourage the scholars who are willing to publish their research to acquaint themselves with the publication guidelines of the Journal before submission.
