University Newspaper (Resala)

Resalat Al-Jami’ah newspaper, affiliated with King Saud University, is the first university newspaper in the Kingdom, and the first Arab university newspaper on the Internet. Its first issue was published on the 29th of Dhul-Qi’dah in the year 1395 AH, corresponding to the second of December 1975. It was published every two weeks, then it turned into a weekly edition, and has been distributed for free since. It was established to this day, and its circulation currently reaches more than 30 thousand copies, down from 8 thousand copies in the first year of its publication.
